Vladimir has more than 20-year experience in the sphere of political, psychological and sociological research and in PR. During his work in the industry he ensured organization and implementation of about 200 communications and research projects at the regional and federal level.
Being the agency’s co-founder and partner since 2002, Vladimir is responsible for a number of its special projects and programs. He also participated in implementation of client projects, specializing in organization of federal and local PR development campaigns, working out concepts of comprehensive marketing programs, managing crisis response programs, holding campaigns for political and public organizations and their leaders.
Vladimir started his career in the sphere of social research and projects while serving in the Russian Military Forces, and more specifically, in the Centre of Military-Sociological, Psychological and Legal Research. After discharge he participated in several election campaigns, worked as the main expert in the Public Relations Department of the Russian Chamber of Industry and Commerce and coordinated regional programs at Burson Marsteller international agency. In 1996 he joined IMAGE-Contact consulting group where he became Deputy General Director for project management, and in 2000 – the head of Rakours-PR agency that implemented group projects in the field of business communications.
Vladimir joined R.I.M. Porter Novelli as Chief Operating Officer in 2002, and from 2006 to 2008 held the position of the agency’s CEO.
Vladimir graduated from the Military-Political Academy in 1988 with a degree in teaching social studies. In 1992, he completed a postgraduate course at the Russian Academy of Civil Service under the President of the Russian Federation. He has a Ph.D. in sociological science, is a professor of the Higher School of Economics, and author of articles and publications in the field of sociology, psychology and management.
